Girl alone in Paris – non traditional things to do

My trip report

Day 1:

When I got to Paris, I booked a room at a hotel. I couldn’t wait to start discovering the city. My first trip was the Louvre Museum, where I spent hours perusing the exhibits and ogling well-known pieces of art like the Winged Victory of Samothrace and the Mona Lisa. The special displays that were on display when I was there were very enjoyable. I had dinner at a little eatery close to my hotel after spending the entire day at the Louvre.

Day 2:

I made the decision to stroll alongside the Seine River today. I strolled by the Notre-Dame Cathedral and gawked at its exquisite design. In order to explore the city from a different angle, I also took a boat tour on the Seine. I visited the Musée d’Orsay, the Eiffel Tower, and other well-known sites. I strolled through the quaint alleys and stores in the Marais district after the boat excursion. I had a cup of coffee at a sidewalk café to end my day.

Day 3:

I got up early in order to ascend the Eiffel Tower. Atmospheric vistas may be seen from the peak. Then I relaxed in the lovely park and went for a walk in the Luxembourg Gardens. I went to the Musée d’Orsay in the afternoon to view a variety of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artwork.

Day 4:

Today, I visited the street market Marché des Enfants Rouges to shop for unique souvenirs and try local foods. I also took a cooking class to learn how to make traditional French dishes. After a full day of cooking and shopping, I enjoyed dinner at a small restaurant near my hotel.

Day 5:

I decided to take a bike tour of the city to see the sights and get some exercise. I visited the Palais de Tokyo contemporary art museum. I also visited the Catacombs of Paris, an underground ossuary containing the remains of millions of Parisians. I finished my day with a visit to the Philharmonie de Paris for a concert or music show.

Day 6:

Today was my last day in Paris. I took a day trip to the Palace of Versailles to see the opulent palace and gardens of Louis XIV. I also joined a free walking tour to learn about the history and culture of the city. I finished my trip with a visit to the Musée de l’Orangerie, which has a famous collection of Monet’s Water Lilies paintings.

Overall, I had an amazing time in Paris. I visited many famous landmarks and museums, but I also took the time to explore the lesser-known parts of the city. I tried new foods, learned about the culture, and had a great time. I will definitely be back!
