The kinky guide to Los Angeles

As you probably saw in a movie or two, the city of angels has it all. This guide is a clearinghouse for information about Los Angeles’ various Dungeons and Fetish-oriented clubs, a place where our visiting kinksters can learn about their options and plan a special kind of trip.

Calanders

Parties and events

  • Hamburger Mary’s – Drag, bingo, trivia, and anything in between
  • Kinky Salon – A safe space for people of all persuasions to explore their sexuality without fear of judgment. Space is designed to be an oasis, where people can feel completely at ease. It is a rare alternative to sex clubs, which can often be intimidating or impersonal. It supports creativity, personal growth, and deepening of community connection as essential counterparts to sensual and sexual exploration.  queer-friendly, body-positive, accessible and inclusive.

Kinky salon party people

  • TEASE Transgender Play Party – Take place at the threshold club. This is a party for all Transgendered, Transsexual, Crossdressing, Gender Variant, Queer and Transvestite folks and those who love and admire them!
  • SOAP – Social of Age Players. Take place at the threshold club. Age play party (with plenty of pets, dolls, littles, ABDLs, middles, bigs, and all those that love them).

Clubs

  • Labyrinth – An ON-PREMISE club for the adventurous adult who embraces the kink and/or swinger lifestyles. It is unapologetically different from other swinger parties. A dark, exciting, sexually charged yet sensual atmosphere without anything to distract you from why you came. All are welcome, exhibitionists and voyeurs alike.A private location with multiple levels and surprises at every turn, group playrooms, semi-private areas, lounge areas, play stations, smoking space, BYOB bar and a discreet, secure entrance. So whether you want to watch, play or get your kink on we have a little something for everyone! Check out their LA event here
  • Dark magic society – A private social club dedicated to the education and pursuit of the BDSM, Swingers, Fetish and Sex Positive Lifestyles. Their private events boast an equal ratio including transgender so that members and their guests can socialize comfortably.
  • The threshold society – Has a laidback vibe. They have a lot of regulars, but new people are very welcome (although they do have members-only nights with a limited number of outside guests). They do have types of play that are not allowed or that require prior permission from the DMs. There tend to be a lot more switches than at other dungeons, and the scenes range from serious to silly and playful. A lot of regulars are open to teaching others at a moment’s notice.
  • The dominion – Probably the oldest BDSM club in the country. Fully staffed studio with women who fill the roles of dominants, switches or submissives. That means there will always be someone available to for you to play with (or to play with you) no matter what your own particular fetish is. The Dominion site is regularly updated with a schedule of who is working, so be sure to book your appointment in advance.

Dungeons

  • Lair de Sade – Takes itself pretty seriously. They seem to pride themselves on being a community, and while they do allow guests, it’s mostly members only. Because of this, they allow a lot more edgy kinds of play. There seem to be more strictly Dominants and submissives, and the scenes tend to be more old guard in feel. There are some mentors teaching their students, but you probably won’t get flogging tips from a stranger.
  • Sanctuary studios LAX – Huge fully equipped BDSM facility with multi-chambered dungeons. Hosts events, classes & workshops, play parties and more for like-minded individuals who share an interest in the BDSM Lifestyle. Kink professionals at many of their parties, sometimes working and sometimes enjoying a party that just happens to be at work. Some of the pro-dommes run the parties. Rules depend on the party. Also hosts the kinky karaoke and BDSM 101 lines.

Yes mistress sign at dungeon east

  • Dungeon east – Home to the infamous “YES MISTRESS” sign! An elite private dungeon in the heart of the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. Single-use space for all kink needs and desires. When you rent space at Dungeon Eas, you are always reserving the entire space and will never share it with anyone else.
